Job Responsibilities:


The marketing analyst is responsible for studying market conditions to assess the potential sales of products and services. The successful marketing analyst will be able to analyze qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competition aiming at increasing competitiveness. The goal of a marketing analyst is to assist in determining the performance of existing products/services, what other products/services are in demand, the ROI for products/services, and the overall value of products and services.  Additionally, the marketing analyst is responsible for both internal and external reporting.   



  • Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis
  • Utilize online market research and catalog findings to databases
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data
  • Formulate a plan and present it to management or a client
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
  • Gather and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods to collect it
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
  • Support the Regional Marketing Teams with reporting needs and evaluation of marketing performance.
  • Review and analyze traffic reports and analyze ROI to determine which marketing efforts are effective. Make recommendations to Regional Marketing Teams where needed, in further competitively positioning the property’s marketing strategy.
  • Knowledge of the Yardi product suite is a plus.
  • Other functions as assigned.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:


A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Statistics along with demonstrable experience is required. Multifamily marketing or statistics experience is preferred.  Successful marketing analysts possess excellent analytical and numerical skills and are deeply creative with great problem-solving skills.



  • At least 2 years of analyst experience in the marketing field.
  • Multifamily experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree required in marketing, statistics or related field.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Positive, energetic, enthusiastic, patient and ambitious attitude is essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management, organizational and administrative skills.



  • Possess search engines, web analytics, and business research tools acumen
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, or similar), databases and MS Office
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing and mining
  • Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
  • Working knowledge with CRM programs (Yardi CRM and Knock CRM a plus)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Advise marketing team, operations, and clients on the best ways to use provided data.
  • Sales and Marketing – Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Research Coordination – Ability to execute research projects and provide data and content within the realm of the objectives.
  • Project Coordination – Can coordinate details in maintaining integrity of fast pace projects
  • Customer Service (internal & external customers) – Understanding of the value and importance of the customer care process and strategies
